SCUG 11 Contribution: "SCUG 11 Theme"--Tom Gannon
=================================

--composed for the **SC-55**
(If you DO have an SC-88 . . .
  could you loan it to me for a couple years?!)

--all control changes, SYSEX changes, etc., reset to default at the
    end of MIDI file. . . .
--really, many of my MIDI tunes ARE semi-original, but I seem to be
    stuck in a pop-rock-cliche' mode right now. . . .

  ================================
    Yeh, I went for immediate gratification via every pop/rock
    cliche' I could think of; but I do like the Mixolydian
    modality and the cello/oohs interaction in the second "A" part.
    I suppose the Square Wave is an SC(/GM) cliche', too, by now, but
    I still like it. . . . (Maybe it's the Square Wave--and the corny
    melod--that makes this ditty somehow remind me of the theme song to
    _The_Wild,_Wild_West_?!)

--Instruments: Reverse Cymbal, Voice Oohs, Overdrive Gt., Muted Gt.,
      Distortion Gt., Square Wave, Cello, Fretless Bs., Drums
--GS Tweaks: GSdrumPC(PowerSet); Sysex: reverb(Hall1); ChannelPressure
      (Amplitude, LFO1Rate, LFO1Pitch); NRPN(FilterCutoff, AttackTime)

----------------
As a relative "newbie" to MIDI, I'd appreciate any corrections or advice
regarding the way I employ channels, tracks, sysex, etc.
(I realize my channel=track method is stupidly & arbitrarily archaic, but
I'm an obsessive-compulsive personality. . . .)
